\u201cShe made up the entire story about being attacked, about her hijab being taken. There was no truth to any of it,\u201d Lafayette Police Department spokesman Cpl. Karol Ratcliff said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe victim describes the suspects as white males, but has not given a definitive clothing description,\u201d Lafayette police told KLFY at the time.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere were no witnesses or video surveillance on the scene.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cDuring the course of the investigation, the female complainant admitted that she fabricated the story about her physical attack as well as the removal of her hijab and wallet by two white males,\u201d police told KLFY. \u201cThis incident is no longer under investigation by the Lafayette Police Department.\u201d<\/p>\n
