Hudak. \u201cThis significant arrest is the result of the work done by our agents, and another example of the important role we play in national security.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Dec. 11, Azaraias Alvarado-Almendarez, 32, an undocumented immigrant from Honduras, was apprehended by Border Patrol agents along with two other subjects near Uvalde. During processing, agents discovered that in March 2009, Alvarado-Almendarez was convicted of sexual assault of a child in Bradenton, Florida.<\/p>\n<p>Alvarado-Almendarez was sentenced to 10 years incarceration and was deported back to Honduras on July 15, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Alvarado-Almendarez faces a charge of illegal re-entry after deportation \u2013 8 USC \u00a7 1326 \u2013 which carries a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEL RIO, Texas \u2013 U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Uvalde Station arrested a convicted sex offender who had been previously removed. \u201cAgents thwarted the illegal entry of another convicted sex offender,\u201d said Del Rio Sector Acting Chief Patrol Agent Matthew J.
