{"id":96137,"date":"2017-01-10T19:30:21","date_gmt":"2017-01-11T00:30:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/?p=96137"},"modified":"2017-01-10T19:35:01","modified_gmt":"2017-01-11T00:35:01","slug":"ice-deports-congolese-man-wanted-vehicle-trafficking-fraud-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/breaking911.com\/ice-deports-congolese-man-wanted-vehicle-trafficking-fraud-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"ICE deports Congolese man wanted on vehicle trafficking, fraud charges"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHILADELPHIA \u2014 A man wanted in his home country of the Democratic Republic of Congo for multiple charges, including for trafficking stolen vehicles, was turned over to Congolese authorities\u00a0by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement\u2019s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).<\/p>\n<p>Dandy Somwe Kapila, 29, has an active warrant for his arrest on charges of trafficking in stolen vehicles, fraud, forgery, and falsification charges, issued by Congolese law enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>Kapila, a former lawful permanent resident, was convicted federally of mail fraud and failure to appear in 2014, and sentenced to 21 months imprisonment.
