NEW YORK — Former WWE pro-wrestler Ashley Massaro has died. She was 39-years-old.
First responders were called to her home in Suffolk County, New York Thursday morning and reportedly found her unconscious.
Police have not released details surrounding her death but TMZ reported the incident is being investigated as “non-criminal.”
The WWE released the following statement after the news broke: “We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro. WWE offers its condolences to Ashley’s family and friends.”
Massaro made her debut in WWE after winning the WWE Diva Search in 2005.
