MARYLAND — Two men were doused with gasoline and set on fire in the streets of Baltimore Saturday and the horrific incident was caught on video.
28-year-old Christopher Harrison Jr., of the 900 block Top View Dr. in Edgewood, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Investigators believe four coworkers traveling in two cars walked to a gas station after one car ran out of gas, CNN affiliate WBAL reported. When they returned to their cars, an argument and a fight ensued.
The victims were rushed to the hospital with major burns. Both were in critical condition.
The incident occurred along Route 40 near Allender Road. The cause of the dispute remained unclear, WBAL said.
Baltimore County Police Cpl. Shawn Vinson said the video is part of the investigation and will “hopefully assist in the prosecution of this case.”
