The Houston Police Department has confirmed that shots were fired at police officers after they responded to a domestic disturbance on the 12800 block of Kingsbridge Lane.
SWAT was requested after shots were fired and is now on scene.
A HPD spokesperson said: “The suspect did fire at officers. Nobody was struck and he has receded inside of his residence.”
The shooting does not appear to be related to any protests that are currently occurring.
