CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee — The suspects involved in shooting 21-year-old Liperial “ Savon” Easterling at his residence on Teakwood Dr are 21-year-old Joshua Aretz from Clarksville and 22-year-old Emmanuel Wallace from Murfreesboro, TN. Aretz is currently in Montgomery County Jail for prior charges. Wallace is not currently in Jail.

On Sunday August 9, 2015 at approximately 1:10 AM, Liperial “ Savon” Easterling (a 21-year-old Soldier stationed at Ft. Campbell, Ky) returned home to his residence at 2862 Teakwood Dr and as he approached his front door he was shot and killed.

Evidence indicates that there may have been two suspects shooting at Easterling. The Preliminary Investigation has not revealed any connection to drug or gang activities.

Detectives are pursuing leads, tips and have sent numerous items of evidence to the TBI Lab. There is an ongoing collaborative effort between Clarksville Police, TBI and Military authorities to solve this homicide.

The motive for this crime is still unknown at this time. We are still soliciting the public’s assistance.
