NEW YORK CITY — Earlier today the east coast head of the bloods gang saw U.S. Marshals knocking on his door to arrest him, he locked himself in his home and set it on fire before shooting a firefighter twice on Friday morning, the shooter has been named as Garland Tyree posted an update on facebook saying that he will die today, he later died in the shooting.

Garland Tyree has an extensive criminal record with 18 prior arrests, serving nearly 20 years in jail, the most notable include assault on the 1st and 2nd degree, as well as possession of a criminal weapon x2.
Tyree also posted a photo of his jail time at Southport Correctional Facility during, 1999, whilst serving a sentence for Assault both 1st degree and 2nd, as well as two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, he was released from Southport in 06/14/02 after serving his full sentence.
It’s reported he was a leader of the notorious Bloods gang, he is seen posing in photos with stacks of cash, buying designer clothes and accessories.
