This year had a scarier moment in it than any trick or treat could have hoped for Brooklin Yazzie.
The Arizona resident realized later on during the evening of Halloween that she had accidentally handed over her wedding ring to youths requesting candy.
While helping her daughters carve pumpkins, Yazzie said that she placed her wedding ring in the candy jar and when the night became hectic she forgot to remove the ring from the jar when she began to hand out the candy to visitors.
She says there were also plastic rings inside the candy bag.
While the ring was not worth too much, Yazzie says she is hoping someone has the ring because of its sentimental value to her.
