WACO, Texas — A 12-year-old boy stabbed another boy, 10, with a pocket knife.
The argument was apparently over a cell phone. The suspect pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the victim in the torso.
The 12-year-old fled the scene but was apprehended by his mother. Police say that the mother kept him there until police arrived.
ETMC was called to the scene but medical treatment was declined by the victim’s parent.
Police arrested and transported the 12-year-old to the Juvenile Detention Center where he was charged with aggravated assault.
