COLLEGE PARK, GA. – Two people were taken to the hospital with stab wounds after an incident at an Atlanta-area high school Wednesday.
The incident happened around 9:00 a.m. local time at Benjamin Banneker High School in Fulton County.
According to CBS46, one victim is in critical condition and the other’s condition is unknown.
“Two students sustained non-life-threatening injuries in an altercation involving a stabbing on campus,” the school district said in a statement. “Fulton County Schools police were on site and a lockdown was initiated while school administrators and police initiated an investigation. Three students were taken into custody.”
It was unclear what led up to the altercation. The investigation is ongoing.
