2 United Planes Wings Clip at Boston’s Logan Airport

Federal aviation and airport officials reported that on Monday morning, two Boeing 737 flights departing from Boston Logan International Airport collided near the gate area.

Preliminary information from the Federal Aviation Administration indicated that as United Airlines Flight 515 was being towed away from the gate by a tow tug, its right wing made contact with the tail of United Airlines Flight 267 at approximately 8:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported. Flight 515 was en route to Newark while Flight 267 was scheduled to fly to Denver. Both flights were postponed to a later time.
