NEW YORK — New York State Police are seeking the public’s assistance to help solve a 22-year-old case involving a missing, pregnant, Macedon woman, Sandra Sollie.

On June 7, 1994, the Macedon Police Department requested the assistance of the New York State Police in regard to a missing person report of 38-year-old Sandra Sollie. Sollie was 7-months-pregnant at the time of her disappearance.

On June 2, 1994, Macedon PD was contacted by Sollie’s landlord when she did not pay her monthly rent. It was unusual for Sollie to be late making the payment.

Police responded to Sollie’s apartment where they found her vehicle in the driveway and the residence locked. A search of the apartment revealed no sign of a struggle or crime, and the only items missing from the residence were Sollie, her dog and purse. Police re-secured the apartment and it was decided to wait to see if she returned.

On June 5, 1994, a downstairs neighbor contacted Macedon police again, concerned Sollie had not yet returned to her home, and a missing person report was filed.

Interviews revealed Sollie was last seen on May 23 in the then Ames Plaza on Route 31 in Macedon. Sollie’s credit card was used in Rochester a few days later on May 31, after it was found on Reed Street in the city. The subjects who found Sollie’s wallet or used her credit card were not found to have any knowledge or connection to Sandra Sollie’s disappearance.

To date, Sandra Sollie has not been located.

Numerous interviews of various individuals have been conducted over the years with negative results and the case has remained unsolved.

Anyone with information on the case or with information on Sollie’s whereabouts is asked to contact the New York State Police at 585-398-4100.
