COLUMBUS, OHIO — A Franklin County Grand Jury returned a 42-count indictment on 5 individuals charged with multiple counts of Human Trafficking & Promoting Prostitution related offenses.
The Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force, in early 2016, received several tips relating to a prostitution and Human Trafficking ring operating in the Columbus area.
These individuals are accused of trafficking over a dozen women through commercial sex advertising over a 2-year period.
59-year-old Curtis D. Gossett of Columbus was indicated on: 2 counts of Trafficking in Persons-Commercial Sex Acts; 1 count of Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity (RICO); 10 counts of Promoting Prostitution; 2 counts of Compelling Prostitution.
45-year-old Stacey A. Rockey of Lancaster, Ohio was indicted on: 1 count of Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity; 2 counts of Trafficking in Persons-Commercial Sex Acts; Compelling Prostitution; Promoting Prostitution.
28-year-old Christina B. Austin of Columbus was indicted on: 1 count of Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity; 1 count of Trafficking in Persons-Commercial Sex Acts; 1 count of Compelling Prostitution; 3 counts of Promoting Prostitution.
37-year-old Jeffrey M. Bagley of Columbus was indicted on: 1 count of Engaging in a Pattern of Corrupt Activity; 1 count of Trafficking in Persons-Commercial Sex Acts; 1 count of Compelling Prostitution; 6 counts of Promoting Prostitution.
26-year-old Brooke M. Adkins of Columbus was indicted on: 1 county of Possession of Heroin; 1 county of Aggravated Possession of drugs.
