NEW YORK — NYPD responded to a call of multiple people shot in Brooklyn on Thursday. The gunfire left two dead and one critical.
A male and a female were shot before the suspect, 39-year-old Jerry Patterson, killed himself with a gunshot wound to the head. The scene is at Clarkson Ave and E 91 St.
The male victim, also shot in the head, was taken to the hospital where he later died. He as been identified as Joseph Kennely, 44.
The female victim, Gina Mclaren, 33, is currently fighting for her life with a gunshot wound the the torso.
NYPD sources tell Breaking911 Patterson is the ex-boyfriend of Mclaren. The incident is being investigated as a murder-suicide.
