BROOKLYN — The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a male suspect regarding a rape within the confines of the 60 Precinct (Brooklyn). The circumstances are as follows:
On Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 9 p.m., inside an apartment building located in Coney Island, a 20-year-old female was followed into the elevator by a male, and when she exited at her floor, he grabbed her from behind and displayed a firearm.
The male suspect then pulled the victim into a stairwell where he raped her and removed her cash and keys.
The suspect fled down the staircase. The victim was removed to Coney Island Hospital for evaluation.
The suspect is described as:
Male black
-Approximately 20-years-old
-Black hair
-Brown eyes and a dark complexion.
-He was last seen wearing a black & white skull hat, a black leather jacket, gray sweatpants and white sneakers. He was holding a black bag.
