ODESSA, Texas — Two Odessa Police Officer were shot during a standoff Wednesday.
The wounded Officers are in stable condition, city officials told the AP.
The scene is at 1030 Custer Avenue. SWAT and snipers were on scene.
Police released a statement on Facebook: “The Odessa Police Department is currently on scene at Clayton Manor Townhomes. Several shots have been fired and the public is asked to avoid Custer (between 8th and 11th) as the scene remains very active.”
It’s unclear what prompted the standoff in the first place. The gunman is at large.
