FAIRFIELD, VA — On Monday, around noon, State Police responded to 240 South Rd in Fairfield. It was reported that Kenneth Labounty, 56, had been in an argument with an individual at that residence. During the argument, he allegedly utilized his truck and rammed into a vehicle occupied by the victim. The force of this pushed the vehicle into the house and caused significant damage.
Witnesses on scene advised that Labounty was under the influence of alcohol at the time and that he left the area on South Road. Labounty was located on January 25, 2016 and taken into custody without incident.
After being processed at the State Police barracks, he was brought to the Saint Albans Superior Court to be arraigned on the following charges: Aggravated Domestic Assault, Unlawful Mischief, and DLS.
He was later released on conditions.
