ACCUSED MURDERERS ON THE RUN: Officer Assaulted In The Escape of 3 Inmates From South Carolina Jail

Orangeburg, South Carolina — Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced investigators are seeking three inmates who assaulted an officer and escaped from the Orangeburg County Detention center Saturday night.

The sheriff said Tyshon Demontrea Johnson, 27; Curtis Ray Green, 20; and Christopher Shannon Boltin, 27, are being sought after the attempt made by multiple inmates.

Johnson and Green are each charged with murder. Boltin is facing a carjacking and grand larceny charge.

All are considered to be dangerous.

OCSO invesitgators were notified of a possible escape attempt just before 10 p.m. Saturday.

Investigators have been searching for the three since the escape attempt was reported.
