Violent Spree of Attacks on Bicyclists in Minneapolis

August 12, 2015 (MINNEAPOLIS) The Minneapolis Police continue to investigate the recent reports of assaults against bicyclists in Minneapolis. Five different individuals have been the victims of these assaults; four on bicycles and one in a car. Information as follows:

Investigation has yielded same or similar suspect vehicle description in each of these cases. It has been described as an older model white Ford, possibly a Bronco type vehicle or a pickup with a topper on it. One of the rear windows is missing an either cardboard or wood covers the opening. The suspect is described as a tanned white male, or possibly a Hispanic male. He is approximately 20 – 28 years of age.

Each of these victims were approached by the suspect operating the above listed vehicle in an erratic manner before he threw cement chunks at the victims. The suspect is believed to possibly work construction as one victim noted a yellow vest.
