A teenager was paid a visit by the NYPD after he reportedly called the Mayor after finding his phone number online.

The unidentified teen says he found Mayor Bill de Blasio’s phone number in a WhatsApp group and decided to give him a ring. In the audio below, you can hear NYPD Detectives question the child about the incident, threatening him with arrest.

The detective then plays the audio from the call to the child’s mother. The kid says, in part, “Bill de Blasio wil die…”

“If you were three years older, you’d be going to jail right now for a felony,” the cop is heard saying. “You made a hate crime and a terrorism act, all in one phone call.”

“This is a very serious phone call. When I got that last night, they said go arrest this guy right now.”

The boy then apologizes. Listen below.

It was unclear if the teen was facing any charges.
