Florida State University Police confirms that it is investigating a Reddit user who posted with the user name “bomb_on_campus” and posted the subject, “Guess What? :)” and “Yup”, in the comments.
No reference to date, time, or location of any device was included. The post is being followed-up by investigators.
The post has since been removed and FSUPD is seeking to identify the poster to determine the intent of the selected user name and post. FSUPD Takes all threats seriously.
In this case, the threat is deemed to be not credible, but an investigation continues because making a threat or a perceived threat can be a crime.
