NEW JERSEY — One person was killed and at least two others were injured in a crash at the Point Pleasant Beach powerboat races Sunday afternoon.
According to WNBC, one boat ‘went into the air during a turn and crashed into another boat.’
The races were cancelled as officials investigated.
The identity of the victims was not known.
