An investigation is underway by Philadelphia police following the discovery of a pipe bomb behind St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in the Holmesburg section of the city Sunday.
According to FOX 29, an 18-inch pipe bomb was found near Conrail railroad tracks in the 8500 block of Frankford Avenue.
The Philadelphia Police Bomb Squad took necessary measures to remove the pipe bomb safely, the report said.
No further details have been released about the incident.
