Boulder, CO — 1994 Heisman winner Rashaan Salaam has reportedly been found dead in Colorado.
Salaam’s remains were found by a passerby at Eben G. Fine Park.
There were “no obvious” signs of trauma, TMZ reported. An autopsy is scheduled.
He was 42-years-old.
Salaam played college football for the University of Colorado and won the 1994 Heisman Trophy.
He was picked by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft, and played professionally for the Bears and Cleveland Browns of the NFL.
