WHITNEY, Texas — Today Whitney Police arrested two additional suspects that were connection with the false report that was allegedly made regarding a vandalized truck in Whitney earlier this month.

Cinderella (Cindy) Lattin and Jason Lattin were taken into custody today on charges of false report to a police officer. The two additional suspects are the wife and son of Scott Lattin.

The family apparently vandalized their own vehicle in hopes of claiming insurance money and sympathy donations.

Police Chief Bentley reports that anyone who donated through the family’s GoFundMe account will receive A FULL REFUND, and anyone who made a donation in another manner should contact Whitney Police Department.
