AFP: The gunman has been arrested and hostages freed.
A gunman has taken two or more hostages in a post office in the Paris suburb of Colombes, the Telegraph reports
He claims to be armed with a Kaloshnikov and grenades.
There are no links to the terror attacks in Paris at this point.
The suspect is known to authorities and may have contacted police on his own and is known for minor crime.
Surrounding areas have been closed off.
