3 Stockton Police Vehicles Involved In Crash

STOCKTON, Calif. — The preliminary investigation has revealed that at 8:28 am this morning, Officers were in the area in the 3000 block of Mt Hoffman Ct. Officers spotted an armed robbery suspect from yesterday and called for additional units after the suspect ran on foot from officers.

Additional units responded to the area code 3 with lights and sirens on Hammer Ln. While on Hammer Lane west of Holman Road a green van stopped in themiddle of Hammer Lane, instead of pulling over to the right, and the officers collided trying to avoid the van. As a result, one patrol vehicle flipped over.

Two officers were transported to area hospitals with complaint of pain. A third officer was transported to the hospital by another officer. All officers are okay and will be treated and released from local hospitals.

After a block search, the armed robbery suspect was located and arrested in the 1900 block of Pyrenees.

The suspect was involved in the following armed robbery yesterday that occurred in the 1800 block of E. Hammer Lane:

1. Armed Robbery (1230) 1800 E. Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District

The two adult victims (who are employees) reported that the suspect was armed with a gun when he entered the business and ordered the victims to lie on the ground. The suspect then took cash from the register and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The suspect is a B/M/20’s wearing a white hat with a black Nike emblem, gray sweat shirt with Nike across the front, dark colored pants and black shoes with white soles.
