INGLEWOOD, California — Police are searching for missing Special Olympics athlete Abidjan Outtara, 24.
Ouattara is the third Special Olympics athlete to be reported missing, according to NBC-LA. One 44-year-old athlete was found hundreds of miles away in Northern California and a 15-year-old boy, who is also on the Ivory Coast team, was found in Inglewood.
From NBC-LA: Ouattara was last seen about 11 p.m. Monday at the Adventurer Hotel at 4200 West Century Blvd. in Inglewood.
He was originally scheduled to fly out of LAX on an Air France flight at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police added that he does not have money or a cellphone.
Anyone with information on Ouattara’s whereabouts was asked to call the Inglewood Police Department at 310-412-5240.
