NOVATO, California — Hamilton Meadow Park Elementary School —
The boy, 9, reportedly fell through a plastic skylight at the school and landed on the concrete below. A parent was nearby and rushed the child to the Hospital.
Officials at the hospital notified police. An investigation is underway.
Police said the boy was playing when he fell and said they did not know the extent of his injuries, according to NBC.
It’s also unclear how or why the boy was on the roof.
“Our hearts go out to the injured child and his family,” Novato Unified School District spokeswoman Leslie Benjamin said.
