Active Shooter Reported at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base In Ohio

Greene County, OHIO — Wright-Patterson Air Force Base was placed on lockdown Thursday—personnel were told to shelter in place after a reported active shooter in building 830, the Wright-Patt Hospital.

At 12:40 p.m., base emergency responders, including security forces and fire department, responded to the reported incident.

According to WDTN, ‘a man has barricaded himself on the fourth floor of the base hospital.’

An alert went out saying, “Emergency responders are enroute. All WPAFB Gates are Closed. All personnel take cover. Limit all communication to emergency use only.”
