Wilberforce, Ohio — Central State University in Ohio was placed on lockdown Monday night after reports of shots fired on campus, the institution said in an alert.
Students and faculty were told the shelter-in-place as police searched for a suspect.
According to the Dayton Daily News, a victim with ‘unknown injuries’ was taken to Miami Valley Hospital.
Local media reported an armed robbery in the area before the lockdown—it was unclear if these incidents were related.
