Harrison Ford Rushed To Reagan UCLA Medical Center After Plane Crash

    Actor Harrison Ford sustained serious injuries after his vintage plane crashed at Pen-Mar golf course in Mar Vista.

    A worker at the golf course told NBC Ford had blood ‘all over his face.’

    Ford is expected to survive.

    Reports say the plane was a  “vintage 2-seater fighter plane.”

    Ford, 72, has been a pilot for many years.

    “Carlos Lugo, 63, said he was playing golf at the Penmar Golf Course when he saw a plane that he believed had taken off from nearby Santa Monica Airport lose power and turn around in an apparent attempt to return to the runway.

    “When he flew over us we knew it was too late to make it back to the airport,” Mr Lugo said.

    The plane went through some trees and landed near the eighth hole at the golf course, he said.”

    “A small plane piloted by Harrison Ford has crash-landed at an L.A. golf course … but we’re told the actor has survived. 

    TMZ has learned … Ford was piloting what appears to be a vintage 2-seater fighter plane Thursday … when something went wrong and he crashed into Penmar golf course in Venice, CA.  

    We’re told Ford suffered multiple gashes to his head and was bleeding. Two doctors who happened to be at the golf course rushed over to treat the actor. “
