Cherokee County, GEORGIA — A suspected gunman was taken into custody after 8 people were killed at massage parlors in the metro Atlanta-area Tuesday. At least 1 other victim was wounded.
Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant told CBS46 that four females, all believed to be Asian, were fatally shot at two spas on Piedmont NE in Atlanta—three victims were found at Gold Spa and one was found at Aromatherapy Spa.
Earlier in the day, three people were killed at a spa in Woodstock, Georgia.
The suspect in the shootings, 21-year-old Robert Long, was taken into custody after a police chase where he stopped only after cops preformed a PIT maneuver.

The Crisp County Sheriff’s office said in a statement: Around 8:00 PM Crisp County Sheriffs Office received information from Sheriff Frank Reynolds that a wanted suspect was traveling south on GA401/I75. A 2007 black Hyundai Tucson was spotted south around mile marker 101 by Georgia State Patrol and Crisp County Deputies.
