The manifesto left by the Nashville mass shooter, Audrey Hale, is expected to be made public by the police.

The writings were obtained by the Metro Nashville Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation as part of the investigation into the murders of three children and three staff members at the Covenant School on March 27.

The general public and several Tennessee lawmakers have been urging law enforcement to release the manifesto, hoping that it could bring some closure.

While the authorities have been analyzing the information, they have now moved closer to disclosing the writings to the public.

“The investigation has progressed to the point where the Covenant shooter’s writings are now being reviewed for public release,” MNPD’s Public Information Office told WZTV. “This process is currently underway and will take some time.”

According to the search warrant, 20 diarys, 5 laptops, a suicide note and other writings by Hale were seized from her parent’s house — as well as 2 memoirs, 5 Covenant School yearbooks and several cellphones.
