I hold my officers to the highest of standards, and will take swift serious action if any should choose to conduct themselves inappropriately.”  “I want to thank the Boston Police Anti-Corruption Division and the Suffolk County DA’s Office for their work in this very troubling case,” said Evans.  Doherty was indicted on the following charges:  Assault and Battery for purpose of intimidation, Violation of Constitutional Rights, Assault and Battery (2 counts) and Using a Motor Vehicle without Authority.
