BEXLEY, OHIO — Capitol University sent an ‘active shooter’ alert to students and staff Monday afternoon after a shots fired incident near campus.
The scene was at 949 Ferndale near the main campus.
The suspects are two black males, one wearing a red ball cap backwards. Columbus police confirmed a shooting.

There were no reports of injuries. The school later said the suspects fled the area and the ‘immediate threat’ was over.
Capital University is a private accredited liberal arts and research university in Bexley, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio.
