Cleveland, Ohio — Police are on scene at Medina Hospital responding to a ‘potential active shooter situation’ in the medical office building.
Both the hospital and office building are on lockdown.
“We advise no one travel to the Medina campus,” the hospital wrote on social media. “Please keep Medina caregivers and our patients and visitors in your thoughts. Their safety is our top priority.”
According to News 5, the alert ‘may have been triggered when someone in the professional building next to the hospital said they saw a person with a gun.’
Officers are sweeping the building and clearing each room.

There were no immediate reports of injuries.
