IOWA — (Scroll Down For Video) — Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) appear to have a tense exchange following the CNN/Des Moines Register Iowa Democratic debate.
“I think you called me a liar on national TV,” Warren asked.
“What?” Sanders said.
“I think you called me a liar on national TV,” she said again.
“You know, let’s not do it right now. If you want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion,” Sanders said.
Warren replied, “Anytime.”
“You called me a liar,” Sanders continued. “You told me — all right, let’s not do it now.”
“I think you called me a liar on national TV."
“What?”
“I think you called me a liar on national TV."
“Let’s not do it right now. If you want to have that discussion, we’ll have that discussion."
“Anytime.”
