DA: Sheriff’s Deputy Assigned To Victim’s Unit Raped Child Who Was ‘Tied Up and Bound’

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced today that, on November 20, 2018, felony charges were accepted against Neil D. Kimball, 45, of Agoura Hills. Kimball is employed as a deputy sheriff for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and at the time of the offenses was assigned to the department’s Special Victim’s Unit.

The DA says in late 2017, Kimball committed ‘forcible rape against a minor 14 years of age or older.’ Adding the victim was ‘tied or bound.’

Kimball has been arrested and is being held on $2 Million bond.
