Breaking: Building Collapse, People Injured As Dangerous Storms Continue In Tennessee

Nashville has now been placed under a tornado warning again for a storm approaching the city.   The National Weather Service is advising people to take cover in their basements or in an interior room.  Tornado sirens are going off once again in the city.

There is are numerous dangerous tornado warned storms currently moving across Tennessee.  The National Weather Service is advising people to take cover in their basements or in an interior room.  The most severe storms appear to be ~90 miles to the Southwest of Nashville.

There is also a tornado warned storm to the Northeast of Nashville.  That storm passed through Nashville and it is unclear at this point on the damage.

The Weather Channel tweeted “Tornado warning issued for Nashville as a thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado is moving through the city.”

8:45- There are also reports of a building collapse at the Wayne County post office, about 90 miles Southwest of Nashville.  There are multiple people injured.

There are reports of numerous houses leveled in numerous states.

8:52- In Butler County, Kentucky there are reports of a mobile home being blown off a hillside by a storm.  People are said to be trapped inside and there is currently a large propane tank leaking.  Authorities are working to rescue those inside.
