Two NYPD officers were shot in the Bronx around 10:33PM Monday night. The incident happened at East 184 Street and Tiebout Avenue in the confines of the 46th Precinct. Both officers were rushed to St Barnabas Hospital by EMS and are reportedly in stable condition. One was shot in the arm, and one was shot in the back.

One suspect reportedly fled in a vehicle but crashed shortly after. He then fled on foot. A massive perp search is underway in the area of 188 Street and Park Avenue. Hundreds of police officers as well as Emergency Services Units, K9, and Aviation Units are canvassing the area. Power has been shut to the Fordham Road and Grand Concourse train tracks as police comb the area. The trains are being held as well.

A second suspect was reportedly apprehended and taken into custody.

Sources tell Breaking911.com that police had responded to calls of a commercial armed robbery, and confronted the suspect who began firing at them. The officers reportedly returned multiple shots to the suspect.

Additionally, Breaking911.com has learned that the weapon used was located at 189 St and Park Avenue.
