MARYLAND — Two flights required an emergency response at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport on Monday. Both incidents appear to be mechanical in nature.
One flight declared an ‘alert two.’
WJZ reported: “A BWI spokesperson tells WJZ that a Southwest plane that took off from the airport had to turn around due a overheated left engine. […]
Moments before responding to the mechanical malfunction with the Sotuhwest plane another incoming plane issued an “Alert Two” for an unknown reason.”
There were no reports of injuries.
