    OCALA, Florida — An Ocala Police Officer died tonight after being accidentally shot during a firearms training exercise.

    The victim, Officer 33-year-Old Jared Forsyth was struck around 3 p.m. local time and was rushed to a hospital. He later died of his injuries.

    Police The Chief says an Officer was unloading a weapon when it discharged, striking Officer Forsyth. The bullet went through the arm and entered his chest.
