Former child actor and Talladega Nights star Houston Tumlin dead at 28

ALABAMA – Actor Houston Tumlin, best known for his role in the hit movie ‘Talladega Nights’ has passed away at the age of 28.

According to the Shelby County coroner, Tumlin fatally shot himself at his home in Pelham, Alabama. TMZ reports the incident happened around 4:30 PM Tuesday and his girlfriend was present in the home.

Tumlin was reportedly serving in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell and also worked other jobs, like repairing telephone lines, TMZ reported.

In ‘Talladega nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby’ Tumlin played the foul-mouthed 10-year-old Walker Bobby, Will Ferrell’s character’s son.
