NEW YORK CITY — The goddaughter of actor Morgan Freeman was stabbed to death in Manhattan Sunday morning.
33-year-old E’Dena Hines was found at 450 W. 162nd St. in Washington Heights, laying in the street suffering from multiple stab wounds, NBC-NY reported.
Hines was rushed to Harlem Hospital and was pronounced dead.
A suspect, 30, was taken into custody.
Hines has previously been reported as Freeman’s step-granddaughter.

Hines is the granddaughter of Freeman’s first wife Jeanette Adair Bradshaw.
The New York Post reports that when police arrived at the scene, Hines’ ex, 30, was standing over her body and screaming incoherently.
