Actor Harrison Ford had a close call Monday while attempting to land a plane in California.

NBC News broke the story: Ford, an experienced pilot who collects vintage planes, had been instructed to land on runway 20-L at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California but mistakenly aimed for a taxiway instead. His plane passed over the top of an American Airlines 737 loaded with 110 passengers and a six-person crew.

No one was injured. The FAA is investigating the incident.

Ford, 74, is a certified private pilot of both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.

On March 5, 2015, Ford’s plane, believed to be a Ryan PT-22 Recruit, made an emergency landing on the Penmar Golf Course in Venice, California.
