HOUSTON — Harris County — A Houston Police Officer has been found dead in a squad car at George Bush Park, KTRK is reporting.
The scene is at 16800 block of Westheimer Parkway. The Officer had been shot. His name has not been released. Police say he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The officer was 38 years old and a 16-year veteran of HPD, the report said. He leaves behind a wife and two children.
