Three law enforcement officers were shot in Sacramento County on Wednesday, one fatally.
The shooting broke out at a Ramada Inn—located at 2600 Auburn Blvd. Officials say the officers came under fire from a hotel balcony while conducting a stolen car investigation.
Among the wounded were 2 California Highway Patrol officers—-a Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputy later died from his injuries.
Two women and one man are in custody. It is believed a gunman may still be holed up in a hotel room.
