MINNEAPOLIS — The case against 35-year-old Bogdan Vechirko, of Otsego, who drove his tanker truck towards a crowd of protests Sunday, has been deferred pending further investigation, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced Tuesday.
According to WCCO, Bogdan Vechirko was released Tuesday. Under the reason for release, authorities said “36 hours expired.”
Investigators are in the process of gathering additional information and answers to aid in the charging decision.
